Checklist for Registration of Cooperatives under The Self-Reliant Act, 1999.
- Application for registration is to be addressed to RCS.
- Three copies of Articles of Association, one for office, one for promoters and one for the Dy. Registrar, are to be attached with the application.
- Promoters resolution specifying the place and date where the draft Articles of Association stands adopted, is also to be annexed.
- Signatures of promoters (only two) on behalf of the rest on draft Articles of Association in token of adoption of Articles of Association.
- Subject matter of draft Articles of Association should be as per Schedule 'B' appended with the Act.
- Gainful core services to be explicitly mentioned in the objective clause of the Articles of Association.
- Matter of specific consideration is to be elaborated.
- Service fee corresponding to 1% of authorized equity in case of Cooperatives who intend to have the same.
- In case of such Cooperatives as do not want to have equity clause, service fee is Rs. 200/-
- Promoters list with their exact address is to be attached.
- Promoters should be permanent residents of the State.
- Declaration in schedule 'A' regarding commitment to the Principles of Cooperation is to be made.
- No two Cooperatives of identical name and identical discipline in the same area of operation shall be registered.
Check list for registration in J&K Cooperative Societies Act of 1989.
While applying for a registration under Section 5 of the Act the applicant should take care of the following requisities:
- The application should be accompanied by three copies of proposed Bye- laws of this Cooperative Society.
- Number of applicants (individuals) should not be less than 100 for Primary agriculture Society. The Husband and wife shall be treated as one member
- The objects of the Cooperative Society should be related to Poultry, Hatchery and Dairy.
- The applicant should be above the age of 18 years.
- Promoter should be permanent residence of the State.
- The application should be signed by the every one of the applicants.
- The application should be addressed to RCS.
- No two Cooperative Societies of the same discipline to be registered in the same area of operation.
- Photocopy of the receipt collecting Share capital and its subsequent depositing with the Bank.
- Original of the Resolution passed by the promoters stating therein that Draft Bye-Laws have been read understood and subsequently adopted.
- No service fee is required to be remitted under 1989 Act.
